CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Matthew

Supporting schools since 2011

Matthew is a specialist speech and language therapist and founder of Therapy Network, with two decades of experience in the field. Registered with both the HCPC and RCSLT, he brings deep clinical expertise and leadership experience to the design and oversight of speech and language support in educational settings.

His background spans the NHS — including St George’s Hospital — and the charity sector with the Royal Society for Blind Children. Through Therapy Network, he has supported over 100 schools across the UK, building a strong reputation for delivering meaningful improvements in the lives of children with speech, language and communication needs.

Matthew has also worked as a research assistant on pioneering fMRI research at the Queen Square Institute of Neurology, work that continues to inform his clinical approach.

Before specialising in speech and language therapy, he worked with well-known children’s television programmes in London and within a world-leading music production environment in Los Angeles — a creative background that shapes how he approaches his work today.

Matthew leads and supports a small, select team of speech and language therapists, delivering high-quality provision into schools across the UK.
