FULL AND PART TIME SPEECH LANGUAGE THERAPY JOBS

LOCATIONS:  LONDON

ROLE: MAINSTREAM PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS

CONTRACT: THERAPY NETWORK LTD

DURATION: MINIMUM 3 TERMS COMMITMENT

HOURS: 37.5HRS, 22.5HRS, 15HRS or 7.5 hrs PER WEEK

SUPERVISION: THERAPY NETWORK LTD

EXPERIENCE: BAND 5-BAND 7

SALARY: £24,000-£34,000 per ACADEMIC YEAR (SOLE TRADER/LTD COMPANY/ UMBRELLA)

 Locum rate: £22-£25 per hour dependent on experience

START: SEPTEMBER 2017

DESCRIPTION

The speech and language therapists will be expected to manage an independent caseload across primary and secondary schools under supervision from the clinical director and the Therapy Network speech and language therapy team. There is the chance to work collaboratively with the local NHS team.

The speech and language therapy job role will entail delivering a core service only:

  • 1:1 informal and formal assessment and therapy
  • 1:1 and Group therapy
  • Training teachers and LSA’s
  • Writing a variety of reports including initial assessment, summary and specialist reports for EHCP
  • Feeding back at team meetings x 2 per term
  • Attending MDT meetings
  • Joint working with the local NHS teams
  • Participating in online CPD

EXPERIENCE: NQP-BAND 7
